At the The CIF-LA City Section Recognition Banquet held on June 6, 2012 at the Castaways Restaurant in Burbank, CA, two of Belmont's own were honored.  Congratulations to Coach David Higa (softball and boys' basketball) for the "above and beyond" the call of duty efforts he displayed to keep his programs on the field during the 2011-2012 season.  Vigorous on-campus recruiting, fundraising, and emphasis of scholarship, sportsmanship, and skill development to his student-athletes characterized Coach Higa's role in the successful seasons his team experienced.  Also, congratulations are in order for Coach Rob Levy (football, track, and softball) for 31 years of dedicated service to Belmont's athletic program.  Coach Levy received the CIF-LA Golden Life-Time Pass granting him admission to all athletic events hosted by the City Section.
