Season runs November through February.  Coach will need to begin recruitment now and begin processing eligibility paperwork. Applicant must be at least 21 years of age and pass FBI/DOJ fingerprint background check if hired. Application Procedure: 1. Letter of intent describing coaching experience and goals for implementing wrestling at an urban high school. 2. Current resume listing 2 references with contact information. One of the 2 references must be the athletic director or administrator at the venue of your most recent coaching position. The other reference can be anyone of the candidate’s choice. 3. One letter of recommendation from the parent of a former athlete. After successful interview and selection, candidate must complete/submit: All LAUSD hiring requirements (TB test, Child Abuse Awareness Training, Suicide Prevention Training, and fingerprint verification) possess a current CPR/First Aid Certification with AED from American Red Cross or American Heart Association, complete the NFHS Coaches Course, complete the NFHS Concussion Awareness Training, Sudden Cardiac Arrest Training, COVID-19 for Coaches and Administrators and Heat Illness Prevention Training.
